ATEX Fuel Oil Leak Sensor

Leak Detection in Hazardous Areas

The ATEX Fuel Oil Leak sensor – type AOSP has been designed for hazardous environments and is ATEX, UKCA, IECEx certified. The sensor gives a NAMUR output and will detect the presence of any liquid including petrochemicals, water, fuel oil etc.

Certified for Hazardous Areas

The ATEX Fuel Oil leak sensor has the rating:

ATEX/UKCA: ll 1 Ga Ex ia iiC T4 Ga and IECEx: Ex ia llC T4 Ga

Suitable for Zones: 0, 1 & 2

ATEX Group & Category: II 1G

IECEX Equipment Protection Level: Ga

Types of protection (electrical): ia, da, ma, op is

Types of protection (non-electrical, ATEX): c, b, k

Types of protection (non-electrical, IECEx): h

This indicates that the equipment is designed to be intrinsically safe for use in environments where there is a risk of explosion due to the presence of flammable gases, vapors, or mists.

Effortless Installation of ATEX Fuel Oil Leak Sensor

Installation of the sensor is easy. The ATEX fuel oil fuel leak sensor has 316 Stainless Steel bracket with a 0-5mm height adjustment and a10m long interface cable.

Galvanic Barrier

The ATEX Fuel Oil leak sensor has been designed to be used with our Galvanic Barrier. This ensures that safe communication can occur within explosive areas. The unit has three-way isolation that isolates high DC (direct current) levels from the sensor and also preventing short circuit hazards.

If an error occurs in the unit, the LED (light-emitting diode) indicator will illuminate to let you know. There’s also an indicator that signals supply voltage and switching state, making it simple to use.
