How It Works
Inside the thermal link is a temperature-sensitive fuse that melts at 72°C. When positioned above a boiler, the thermal link detects excessive heat and breaks contact with the Merlin gas safety system. This action triggers the gas solenoid to close, preventing further gas from entering the boiler room, thereby reducing the risk of fire escalation.

Installation Instructions
⚠ Warning: Hazardous voltage can cause electrical shock. Disconnect power before proceeding.
- Remove the ventilated cover.
- Use the base as a template to mark and drill mounting holes.
- Ensure the unit is mounted with the perforated cover pointing downwards, with ventilation slots unblocked.
- Make the necessary electrical connections.
- Replace the cover securely.
