The LD4-2 Water Leak Detector is an advanced system designed to monitor and detect water leaks across three or four zones. Ideal for large residential homes, office blocks, and industrial settings such as power plants and server rooms, the LD4-2 provides comprehensive leak detection to prevent costly water damage.

The 3 to 4 zone Water Leak Detector shares similarities with our two-zone water leak detection alarm, but expands upon the number of areas that can be monitored.

How LD4-2 Water Leak Detector Works:

Upon detecting a water leak, the LD4-2 Water Leak Detector display will flash, indicating the precise location of the leak. Additionally, an audible warning device will activate, and the common alarm relay will close. Even after removing the water from the sensor, the unit will continue to operate in this alert state. To silence the alarm, simply mute the sounder, which will simultaneously stop the display from flashing.

• Building Management System (BMS) Compatibility: Includes volt-free contacts for seamless integration with BMS and PLC systems. Alternatively you can choose to have Modbus TCP output.
• Optional Battery Backup: Ensures up to 12 hours of continuous operation during power outages.
• Additional Alert Options: Compatible with flashing beacons, audible alarms, and SMS text alert units.

For enhanced control, the LD4-2V water leak detector includes automated valve control functionality. In the event of a detected leak:

• Automatic Water Shutoff: The water leak detector closes an actuated ball valve to halt water flow to the affected area.
• Manual Override Feature: Users can restore water service using an internal valve override button while the system dries out.
