The CWT alarm contains both a Room over temperature alarm and a water detection alarm.
The unit has been specifically designed to monitor critical areas such as a small server room, were both over temperature and a water leak would cause operational problems.
Complete with visual and audible indication, the unit can be connected to a Building Management System, remote beacon or send a Text message via the addition of our text messaging unit as shown in the “optional equipment” tab below.
The unit has been designed to monitor critical areas such as server rooms for water leak detection and room over temperature due to faulty cooling plant. Water is detected by using our leak detection cable that can be formed to any shape. Temperature is monitored via remote sensors. The temperature alarms trip point can be internally adjusted between 0 and 50°C. Room temperature is displayed on the alpha numeric display along with the alarm status. Also displayed on the screen is the water detection sensor alarm states. When the room temperature exceeds the alarm setpoint or the leak detection cable touches water, the display will flash showing the type of alarm, an internal audible waring will sound, the common alarm volt free contacts will change state, if fitted, the remote beacon/beacon sounder will start, and if fitted, the SMS text messaging/Email unit will send an alarm message via the mobile network. If power to the unit fails, the internal volt free “common Alarm” BMS contact will change state.

All of the information below is available in our CWT combined room temp and water alarm pdf data sheet.
The unit has been designed to monitor critical areas such as server rooms for water leak detection and room over temperature due to faulty cooling plant. Water is detected by using our leak detection cable that can be formed to any shape. Temperature is monitored and compared to an alarm trigger setpoint that can be internally adjusted between 0 and 50°C. The current ambient temperature is displayed on the alpha numeric display along with the alarm status. Also displayed on the screen is the current alarm states of the water detection sensor.
